Reiki is a natural, holistic, gentle, hands-on and hands-off healing approach that works with one’s energy—mind, body, spirit. Rei—meaning “universal” and –Ki meaning “life force energy”.
Individual yoga instruction is for those who are just beginning their practice, those who have a specific issue they'd like to use yoga to help with, or anyone who just wants one-on-one dense yoga instruction.
Cupping Therapy
We offer two different cupping services. You have the option to receive a treatment alongside a personalized guided meditation, or simply just receive the cupping therapy. Both choices are immensely healing. ​I use the Chinese Fire Cupping technique, and often 'moving cups', if I believe it would be beneficial. This method allows me to use sterilized glass cups and fire to create a seal onto your area of treatment. If I believe you would benefit from moving cups, I will apply a thin layer of coconut oil to the skin before placing the cups, and move them along your skin. ​Some benefits to cupping include clearing stasis, moving qi, muscle relaxation, detoxification, and pain management. Reiki
Reiki is a natural, holistic, gentle, hands-on and hands-off healing approach that works with one’s energy—mind, body, spirit. Rei—meaning “universal” and –Ki meaning “life force energy”. Thus, the translation of Reiki is “universal life force energy”. Every single Reiki session is different. Reiki is used as a compliment to western medicine. Reiki helps stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Throughout a session, clients may report feeling a deep sense of peace, relaxation, tingling sensations, coolness and/or warmth. They may see various colors, have different emotions come up to release, experience different memories, see loved ones or pets who have crossed over, etc.
Group Classes
The offerings for group classes will change over time. You can expect to see a variety of asana, meditation, and community based group classes. Group classes are a great way to get to know your community, to feel the warmth from a friendly face, and to feel the support you need from people who may also need the same support. You can connect with a variety of people in a safe welcoming environment. ​Meditation discussions will usually have a theme, with room to explore other topics as the discussion move forward. We can connect about current events, lunar happenings, spiritual topics, or personal hardships. This will be followed by a meditation based upon the groups needs, or the theme from before. Leaving the room feeling connected, grounded, and whole. ​Yoga practices will include a centering before starting, and an 'all-levels' yoga sequence. You may see; restorative yoga, sunrise yoga, gentle yoga, and many more. Each class will have a description to further explain the style before you attend. ​Lunar groups will include meditation, yoga, and group discussions. These practices are intended to gather together to celebrate a lunar happening. Commonly, these will be on the full moon, but can happen during any significant event.
Group Classes are also held at The Yoga Center Retreat and YogaFIt.
Individual Yoga Instruction
Individual yoga instruction is for those who are just beginning their practice, those who have a specific issue they'd like to use yoga to help with, or anyone who just wants one-on-one dense yoga instruction. ​ You can book 20 min at a time, with a limit of 80 min in one day. I recommend reaching out to me before booking, so we can discuss your personalized needs and create a plan/schedule.
